With its 3000 songs and variations,

the Brown Thrasher choruses crises and current events with all the caveats

just like the CIA’s Red Cells.

So, instead of a Cheney-stove-piping of facts,

it’s “what are all the alternative explanations?”

Like the birdsong that travels in all directions and over long distances

when it’s hard to see,

as in dense vegetation or at night,

this CIA may figure out what’s truly happening.
