This was a hurry-up-the-book-group-is-almost-here DIY and, in spite of the haste, caused serious menorah-envy
The ancients may not recognize this as the 7-branched lamp stand from the old Tabernacle in the desert and Temple of Jerusalem, but, Toni, you took what you had at hand and made the most of it. We stood around that island of yours, and I remember thinking “are the candles at an even height? If they were would it pass muster? But my next thought was: those ancient peoples had to make do with what they had too. (Maybe not the sequins?) Either way, it’s all a miracle.

Some things are just meant to be admired. Then again…..recycle the sequins, scrape off the glue and you’ve got dinner. Patty said it, it’s a miracle.
