Aw-w-w-w-w! How sweet!!!!!! Wish I had someone to hold on!
Hi Ray,
By the time we smelled the skunk and turned on the back floodlights, the GHO was in the raised bed and in his spine-crushing mode with his wings doing that tent thing. We think he (or she?) knew we were watching. Every once in a while he’d turn and look at us with those yellow eyes and then the skunk would wriggle and the GHO would go tighten his grip, occasionally pecking at him with his beak. In the morning all that was left were tufts of skunk fur. What a feast for the owlets that night.

How did the GHO get onto the raised bed, anyway?
