A teenage snowy owl perches on the rocky, wave-crashed waters of Sachuest Point. On the viewing platform I munch lunch and think he must hungry. The lemming ran out in the Arctic Tundra so he “irrupted” down here. He’s in a sit-and-wait stance like my own teenagers, silent and still while I thaw a snack. His yellow eyes mesmerize. Mayhap he’ll hypnotize a passing fish or songbird. Frozen pizza not being on the menu.

Beautiful photo! I used to run around Sachuest Point every day for years. I’ve seen Snowy Owls there as well. Maybe the same one!?
